ITS A GIRL FOR LIN CHING-HSIA
HONGKONG - Veteran Taiwanese actress Lin Ching-Hsia, 46, has given birth to a baby girl through caesarian section at a local hospital. The baby is her second daughter with husband Michael Ying, the boss of Esprit Asia. Their first child was born in 1996. The former movie queen is recuperating at a posh hospital. Lin married Mr Ying in 1994 after breaking off with her long-time boyfriend Chin Han, a matinee idol in the 70s. She retired from showbiz after tying the knot, ending a glamerous career which spanned two decades. Ming Pao Daily News reported yesterday that a beaming Mr Ying emerged from the posh hospital and announced: "My wife gave birth to a daughter!" The businessman has a teenage daughter from a previous marriage.
