A book describing the activities taken on the set of the play Peach Blossom Land.  The book is written in traditional Chinese.  There are a no. of colour as well as black and white photos. About 30 pictures inclusive of cover page.  Below is a translated extract from the book.

Start of Translation

ZiFan, from an artistic view, is Peach Blossom Land's most sad yet most beautiful symbol.  Lin Ching Hsia is the Chinese symbol, for the past 20 years, as the youthful, beautiful and romantic star.  For Lin Ching Hsia to act as ZiFan, it is what everybody wanted or expected.  Although she has acted in such roles before, it is still a challenge to her.  It is a most touching role, she has to act as a old lady which she never tried before.  Most importantly, she is performing in the theatre.

After receiving the Best Actress award for the Golden Horse in her role in "Red Dust", she faces many new challenges.  Her attitude has become more cautious, discreet and respectful, but full of confidence.  Also she fully trust Stan Lai and will fully help him.  Stan Lai has made a comeback after 10 years.  Shi Bowen has asked to make a play.  They want to invite Lin Ching Hsia but was unsuccessful.  However, Lin Ching Hsia has told them many times, if she wants to act in a play, it must be with Stan Lai as her director.  Now at last her request is being fulfilled.

1991 September 25th to 29th at National Theatre perform 5 shows, Lin Ching Hsia went to Hong Kong to act in Tsui Hark’s movie Swordsman II, at the same time, Performance Workshop then got another actress to take over the role of Yun ZiFan instead to tour Taiwan and America.  On November 21st and 22nd, they met up in Hong Kong, Lin Ching Hsia performed 2 shows at the Cultural Centre.  Next year in January, Lin Ching Hsia went back to Taipei to join the cast in the movie production of Peach Blossom Land.
