Life God, The (1975)

The film is about the life of Wu Peng, a physician who cured countless sick people in his lifetime.  The show starts with Wu Peng as a young boy who wanted to become a doctor in order to cure his master.  His teacher has a daughter of similar age and another student who is jealous of Wu Peng.  Tragedy strikes the old doctor's family and only 3 years later did Wu Peng re-unite with his childhood sweetheart as there is a outbreak of pestience and Wu Peng went to cure the sick.  His sweetheart accompanied him, contracted the disease and died.  The show ended with the aged Wu Peng thinking about his past and looked up to see a lady on the beach whose profile looks like his sweetheart but she is someone else (ie. Lin Ching Hsia).

The appearance by Brigitte is very short and only in the very last part of the show.  Doesn't this remind you of her cameo in Royal Tramp?
