The book contain many interveiws with producers, directors and actors.  Of interest are interviews with Wong Kar Wai and Christopher Doyle about their films with a mention of Brigitte Lin.  When you read the Christopher Doyle interview, take a look at the book Light Values.  Then you will understand what he says about a fellow crew member who looks like Brigitte.

The book has a chapter on Recommended Viewing which list the highest-rated Hong Kong films and the opinions of 12 critics.   In the list, it includes Chungking Express, Peking Opera Blues, Swordsman II, Ashes of Time, Police Story, Zu : Warriors from Magic Mountain, The Bride with White Hair, Dragon Inn, East is Red, Dream Lovers, Red Dust and Eagle Shooting Heroes.

I like the interviews whether they pertain to Brigitte Lin or not.  Nice to read other people's opinions.
