In this movie Lin Ching Hsia is Xiao Chan a college student who is engaged to a boring childhood friend who is an engineering student.  Charlie Chin is Yu Feng who is a forestry student who wants to be a singer.  Xiao Chan's parents disapprove of their relationship and sends her to US to break them up.  Later she got married to her fiancee.  Yu Feng is broken-hearted and manages to get a job as a singer in a restaurant.  Josephine Siao heard him singing and liked him.  Although they dated, Yu Feng couldn't forget Xiao Chan.  One fine day, he reads about Xiao Chan's husband's return to Taiwan and he barges into the room where the couple is being interviewed by the press.  When he heard about Xiao Chan's reply to the press about her husband, he finally gave up and settled down with Josephine Xiao.

The 1st half of the movie is about Lin Ching Hsia and Charlie Chin.  The 2nd half is about Charlie Chin and Josephine Xiao.  Lin Ching Hsia appears again at the end of the show.
