Fantasy Mission Force would require a few viewings to figure what is going on. But depending on your taste, it might be difficult to do that. Its is a very slapstick movie. A lot of bad and tasteless jokes going on.
The show starts with the Japanese capturing American, British, French and African top military brass with a so-called General Abraham Lincoln included. There is a big financial reward to rescue them and the top Chinese military finally decides on Wang Yu after deciding that Stallone, James Bond and Black Fox (from Seven Black Heroines) aren't available. Wang Yu decides to re-group his old squad to save the generals and claim the reward. Of course, there were seven of them. Jackie Chan and his business partner belong to a different group. Along the way, they encounter the Amazons which was headed by Adam Cheng with a James Bond persona, religious cults and Japanese samurai. Brigitte Lin is Lily whose boyfriend used to report to Wang Yu. Click for the Conclusion of Fantasy Mission Force.
This movie is basically a fantasy movie for men. Women like Brigitte are totally devoted to the boyfriend who run off on immediate tip of money-making (It does imply that a man prioritizes money higher than women). The men are captured by the Amazons and tortured by them in ridiculous setup. Brigitte has a beer drinking contest and every drink drunk is followed by a pistol shot or knife throw to strip away clothes from another woman. Adam Cheng's role is to receive immense devotion from the Amazon women. Plenty of explosions and shooting scenes. Jackie Chan's come in whenever this misfit group is stuck.
Despite the MCP (Male Chauvinist Pig) tone, Brigitte was decently clad in only 1 suit of black leather with red scarf and red leather boots. This film is full of contradictions. Don't watch if you are a SNAG (Sensitive New Age Guy), we wouldn't want you to be contaminated. Normally Brigitte is always paired with a good looking actor in a film, but this is definitely an exception in this movie.

- Asian Cinema Discussion:
"So far, I've identified music by Ennio Morricone (from A Pistol For
Ringo and Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion), John Carpenter
(from
Halloween 2), and Tangerine Dream (from Sorcerer). There's some other
spaghetti
western-sounding music that I think may also be Morricone (or possibly
Bruno Nicolai or Riz Ortolani or someone else), like the cut that plays
when Brigette Lin blows up her house for no apparent reason (does
ANYTHING
in this film happen for any apparent reason?). Chu Yen Ping seems to be
a Morricone fan, he used cues from My Name is Nobody and A Fistful of
Dynamite
in his similarly insane Golden Queen Commando."
But I must say the music made more sense than the plot.

In a post on MHVF by Akiko Tetsuya, Akiko-san wrote that Brigitte said that she sang a song in Fantasy Mission Force. However Akiko-san could not find the scene in her video tape, VCD or DVD. If you can figure which scene, pls help to identify it.
