Lin Ching Hsia (Hsiao Yu) explains her relationship with Hsing Yu to her father. Her father withdraws from the investment and helps Hsing Yu in gardening. Tsui Wen Lun finally realises the futility of his love for Hsiao Yu and notices Hsiao Yu's best friend instead. Tsui Wen Lun reconciles with his father. The show concludes with Hsing Yu's success in breeding a rose of mixed colours of red and orange.
