The story starts with 2 little girls playing on the swing and the younger girl taking a fall. Years later, the 2 girls are grown-up. Lin Ching Hsia is the elder sister Yen Jan who has a guilty complex for causing her younger sister Chiao Mei to be blind. The younger sister has an inferior complex and is dependent on everyone in her family. Liu Wen Zhen as Ling Kang who used to be the boyfriend of the elder sister, is in love with the younger sister. Another man, Master An Ping Yuan enters Brigitte's life and the 2 couples are happy. During a lonely evening, the younger sister Chiao Mei feels melancholy and is comforted by Master An whose action Brigitte misinterprets. The misunderstanding took a while to clear up and Liu Wen Zhen marries the younger sister. The younger sister has problems adapting to the in-laws because she is blind. They all meet and finally the Chiao Mei changes her attitude to life. One year later, she is independent and everyone is happy.
There is 1 scene in which the 2 couples sang. However I do not know whether that's her voice or not.
The irony of the show is that Brigitte is actually behaved better and sweeter than the younger sister. The younger sister is pathetically full of self-pity. I guess they are trying to create a new star.
