Leslie reprise his role as Yi Hang, a Wu Tang sect disciple. Brigitte plays Lien Ni Chang, his former lover.
In this movie, Brigitte's weapon is her white hair. Works even more effectively than her whip which was her weapon in the Bride With White Hair movie. She leads a group of bitter young women to avenge themselves on men and the Eight Clans. She kidnaps the bride of the last remaining Wu Tang disciple and indoctrinate hatred into the girl. Meanwhile, all the last remaining disciples of the eight clans to rescue the girl but failed. They seek Leslie but failed to spot him. They make a last attempt to rescue the girl. They made use of this sequel to introduce new actors and actresses into this but this makes Brigitte's and Leslie's performance stand out even more. Brigitte as Lian Ni Chang acts with an intense anger throughout the show until the end when she is re-united with Leslie. Brigitte and Leslie make a sizzling pair as both lovers re-unite in a blazing background. This is so apt as their love affair started in a pool in Bride With White Hair and ended in a fire in Bride with White Hair II. In Bride with White Hair, Brigitte's hair turn white at the end of the movie. In Bride with White Hair II, Brigitte's hair turn black at the end of the movie. Its like the hatred and hurt in her has been removed and she is back to normal.
Bride with White Hair II must be watched with Bride with White Hair otherwise parts of the movie will not be easily understood. Although the romantic scenes in Bride With White Hair II is less, the last scene is powerfully romantic.
